Assembly Guide for Echoserein Electric Tricycles

Your Echoserein electric tricycle ships partially assembled to help protect it during transit while keeping setup as simple as possible. Most of the technical assembly work has already been completed before shipment so you can focus on getting outside and riding.

Most customers complete the remaining setup in approximately 30–60 minutes using the included tools. No advanced mechanical experience is required.

If you run into questions during assembly, contact us at support@echoserein.com and our team will be happy to help.

What Comes Pre-Assembled

The following components are already assembled before shipping:

  • Main frame and rear axle
  • Rear wheel and drivetrain
  • Motor and battery wiring
  • Rear brake cable routing

This reduces the amount of assembly required once your trike arrives.

Components You Will Need to Attach

After unboxing, you will typically need to install or adjust:

  • Front wheel
  • Handlebars and stem
  • Seat post and saddle
  • Front basket (if included)
  • Pedals
  • Front brake cable adjustment
  • LCD display connection

All required assembly tools are included inside the package.

A printed instruction manual is included with every trike and contains model-specific instructions, diagrams, and torque recommendations. Please follow the manual included with your specific model.

Before You Begin

1. Have a Second Person Help

Electric tricycles are heavy and may weigh 80–100 lbs in the shipping box. We strongly recommend having another person assist with lifting and unpacking.

2. Inspect for Shipping Damage

Before assembly:

  • Check all parts for visible damage
  • Inspect the frame, wheels, and accessories carefully
  • Save the packaging until assembly is complete

If anything appears damaged, bent, or missing, contact support@echoserein.com within 48 hours and include photos.

Do not attempt to ride or assemble a damaged trike.

3. Organize All Parts

Lay out all included components and compare them with the parts list in your manual before beginning assembly.

4. Read the Included Manual

While the overview below covers the general process, your printed manual contains the correct instructions and specifications for your exact model.

General Assembly Overview

Step 1 — Attach the Front Wheel

Position the front wheel into the fork dropouts and secure it using the included hardware. Tighten both sides evenly according to the specifications in your manual.

Step 2 — Install the Handlebars

Insert the handlebar stem into the steering tube and align the handlebars straight with the front wheel. Tighten the stem bolts securely without overtightening.

Step 3 — Install the Seat and Seat Post

Insert the seat post above the minimum insertion mark and tighten the seat clamp securely.

For comfort, adjust the seat height so your knee remains slightly bent at the bottom of the pedal stroke.

Step 4 — Install the Pedals

Please note:

  • The right pedal is marked “R” and tightens clockwise
  • The left pedal is marked “L” and tightens counter-clockwise

Thread pedals carefully by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then tighten securely with the included wrench.

Step 5 — Adjust the Front Brake

Connect and adjust the front brake cable so the brake engages firmly before the lever reaches the handlebar.

Always test both brakes before riding.

Step 6 — Connect the LCD Display

Connect the display cable to the matching connector on the handlebar wiring harness. Ensure all electrical connectors are fully seated and aligned correctly.

Step 7 — Install the Front Basket (If Included)

Attach the basket using the included hardware and mounting bracket.

Do not exceed the basket’s recommended weight limit.

Pre-Ride Safety Checklist

Before your first ride, confirm all of the following:

  • Brakes engage firmly
  • Handlebars are aligned and tightened
  • Pedals are secure
  • Seat post is tightened properly
  • Tires are inflated to the recommended pressure
  • Battery is fully seated and charged
  • Electrical connectors are securely connected
  • LCD display powers on correctly

Do not ride until all items above have been checked carefully.

Tips for First-Time Trike Riders

If you are new to electric tricycles, the handling may feel different from a standard bicycle at first.

A few helpful tips:

  • Slow down before entering turns
  • Start with the lowest pedal assist setting
  • Practice in an open, flat area before riding on streets or trails
  • Remember that a trike remains upright at stops without balancing

Most riders become comfortable after one or two short practice sessions.
